Samuel Hume
Personal Profile
As a public historian, Samuel Hume is passionate about making great history available to all. Samuel received his PhD in British imperial history in 2023. from the University of Aberdeen. As the producer of Pax Britannica and The History of Witchcraft, he has honed his skill at crafting engaging scripts and hosting insightful interviews over 250 episodes. ​He was shortlisted for the 2023 Independent Podcast awards, and in 2024 he was chosen as one of BBC HistoryExtra’s 30 under 30 Historians.
